ENTRY PROCESS:

Easy Online Registration: Submitted work will be curated, not juried, with every artist guaranteed one or more exhibited piece(s). Artists must register and submit using ArtCall.org at this address:  https://mgnepressto.artcall.org/

We will begin accepting entries on August 1, 2022, and will close submissions at midnight on August 15, 2022 with decisions of the curators emailed on August 18, 2022. To complete your entry, you must submit payment of $22 or $50 through ArtCall. You will receive a separate acknowledgement of your registration, payment, and each image submitted via ArtCall messaging. Each image uploaded has a unique numerical identifier, thus you will receive multiple responses. Your entry can be edited up until the deadline by logging back into the call at the link above. Only JPEG files will be accepted. A good size for this process is 1920 pixels on the longest side. We will be posting links to an on-line gallery, so please use high quality photos of your work.

Important: Please print the labels provided by ArtCall during this process and affix the check-in label to the back of each print.

PRESENTATION AND FRAMING:

For the sake of protecting your work, we encourage framing under glass or plexiglass. However, the gallery will permit work to be tacked to the wall using straight tacks or magnetic pins. Please note any unusual installation needs in your application.

INSURANCE:

The gallery does not carry insurance. The artist will not hold MGNE or the UMVA gallery liable for damage to any works. Volunteers will handle your work with the care and respect that they accord their own work.

SALES:

Sales are the responsibility of the artists. We will put your contact information (email and/or phone) on the labels for your work. UMVA Gallery takes a 25% commission on all sales.
